Dim Sam in Tho Yuen Restaurant 桃园茶楼

Was thinking what to get for our breakfast, and recalled that we haven't been to this Tho Yuen Restaurant for a long time. We been there a few times for dim sum & noodles. They serve good chicken rice too.

To start, we ordered a pot of jasmine mix 'pu er' chinese tea. Regretted after that, should have just ordered 'Pu Er' cause can't really taste Pu Er. Tea are quite thick thought, had to add more water when is half pot left.

They will push their Dim Sam trolley to serve one table follow by another. Bear in mind, their Dim Sum finished very fast especially Sunday. We reached around 10.30pm and not much left.

Got ourselves ginger duck, pork ribs, 'siu mai', egg plant and mushroom.
This is one of my favourite dim sum place. They might not offer a lot of dim sum choices, but their taste are more authentic with pork base rather than prawn. More old school kind of taste, and the most important thing is I barely feel the MSG!!! I am not sure if they added, but at least I didn't taste it.

Follow by that, we had a curry chicken in bread. The server cut the bread for us before serving, that make our life easier.

We also had some deep fried dim sum. Pork 'Siu Bao' and pork belly roll. Personally don't really like it. Skin is a bit too thick, thus can't really taste the pork.

They do offer many other dishes like 'yi fu mee' , chicken rice etc. h
